Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical AutoCAD Designer to create and modify electrical designs, drawings, and models using AutoCAD software. The successful candidate will work closely with our electrical engineering team to produce high-quality designs that meet project requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and Drafting: 1. Create, modify, and maintain electrical designs, drawings, and models using AutoCAD software. 2. Develop and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and other electrical drawings. power layouts, lighting layouts,shops,making As-built drawings,single line diagram 3. Ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines. Collaboration and Communication: 1. Work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy. 3. Communicate design changes, issues, and concerns to relevant parties. Documentation and Quality Control: 1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of electrical designs and drawings. 2. Conduct quality checks on designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance. 3. Implement design revisions based on feedback from peers and supervisors. Training and Development: 1. Stay current with AutoCAD software updates, features, and best practices.2. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills.3. Mentor junior designers and drafters in AutoCAD and electrical design principles. Requirements: Education: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field. Experience: * Minimum 3+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting using AutoCAD. * Proven experience in creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. Skills: * Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, Revit). * Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and codes (e.g., NEC, IEC). * Excellent drafting, design, and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication, collaboration, and time management skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: * Certified AutoCAD Professional or similar certification. * Experience with other CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor). * Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) and electrical building services.
