Job Summary:
The in-house architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction or renovation of buildings and structures within the organization. Working closely with various departments, the in-house architect ensures that the design aligns with the company's objectives, meets regulatory standards, and optimizes functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design:
- Develop and create architectural designs and plans based on the organization's requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs, goals, and constraints.
- Project Management:
- Manage the architectural aspects of construction or renovation projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with other professionals, such as engineers and contractors, to ensure project success.
- Code Compliance:
- Ensure that all architectural designs and plans comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards.
- Budget Oversight:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and manage project budgets related to architectural aspects.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising design integrity.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including construction, engineering, and facilities management, to integrate architectural plans seamlessly.
- Research and Innovation:
- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and construction methods.
- Integrate sustainable and innovative design practices when applicable.
- Documentation:
- Prepare and present architectural drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized project records.
- Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve design and construction challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Professional licensure as an architect.
- Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Experience in interior design.
