Measurement Taking on Site: Visit job sites to take accurate measurements of the space where the woodwork will be installed or implemented.
Ensure precision and accuracy in measurements to avoid errors in design and production.
Design in Software: Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs to create detailed designs based on the measurements taken.
Translate client requirements and measurements into accurate digital models for visualization and production.
Cut List Preparation :Generate a comprehensive cut list based on the finalized designs.
Optimize material usage and minimize waste by organizing efficient cutting patterns for the wood pieces.
Vendor Handling: Coordinate with material suppliers and vendors to procure necessary wood, hardware, and other required materials.
Negotiate prices, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production deadlines.
Carpentry Work Oversight: Supervise carpenters and craftsmen working on the woodwork projects.
Provide guidance, instructions, and support to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Quality Check: Implement quality control measures throughout the production process.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the accuracy of measurements, adherence to design, and the overall quality of finished woodwork.
