Sturdy Groups, a leader in turnkey construction services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Davanagere. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction and interior projects from inception to completion. This role demands a professional who can ensure project timelines are met, maintain high-quality standards, effectively plan resources, and manage client relationships with a high degree of ownership and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Client Handling and Conversions (Main Responsibility):
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project status.
- Address and resolve client concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
- Convert potential prospects into clients working together with Sturdy Groups Sales Team
Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of construction and interior projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage project activities with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Timeline Management:
- Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are achieved.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Identify and mitigate potential delays and risks.
Quality Management:
- Ensure all construction and interior work meets the highest quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Implement quality control procedures and address any issues promptly.
Resource Planning:
- Develop and manage resource plans to ensure adequate allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Optimize resource utilization to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and interior project management.
- Proven track record of managing complex construction and interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
