This position is for candidates who has experience in constructing buildings.

We are a branch of Italian software developing company in Ahmedabad.
As a Sr. CAD Technician/Designer your duties will primarily include:
- Experience in Rapideck formwork.
- Creation of placement drawings for our horizontal and vertical forming systems to be used in high-rise condominiums, apartment buildings, office buildings, and parking garages;
- Determine the number and type of accessories required by the formwork design drawing and the estimated number of pieces/materials;
- Draw piece count onto drawings;
- Producing installation drawings and calculations according to contract documents;
- Applying revisions to placement drawings and calculations according to comments on approved drawings and/or structural revisions;
- Identifying revisions that require contract change orders;
- Issuing placement drawings for construction prior to material fabrication;
- Maintaining electronic copies of all submittals and correspondence according to the company policy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors / Masters education.
- 4/5 years of experience using CAD 2D (GstarCad preferred) or an equivalent engineering CAD software;
- Thorough working knowledge of CAD Standards;
- Accurately estimates schedule and completes assigned tasks within scheduled time frame;
- Executes drafting work with CAD software to meet high quality standards;
- Highly motivated individual with a desire to learn new skills and techniques;
- Must have a legal and updated copy of CAD 2D, newer (preferred) or an equivalent engineering CAD software;
- Performs drawing maintenance including updates, revisions, and development of as-built record documents;
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office software programs and CAD systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate working relationships with key customers,
sales representatives and other company associates at all levels;
- Knowledge of Drafting and Design systems, processes and operations;
- Ability to meet and/or exceed various quality and production performance ratings established;
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math functions including conversion of fractions/decimals and metric/English units;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Ability to work within a team environment;
Considered a Plus:
Previous knowledge of similar horizontal and vertical concrete forming systems, or civil construction environment.
