Career Desk and Cad Desk Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between Career Desk, a job portal platform owned by Cad Desk, and its users, including students and companies. By using Career Desk’s services, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform.

  1. Eligibility:
    1. Students: To use Career Desk, you must be a current student or an alumnus of Cad Desk.
    2. Companies: Companies must adhere to the eligibility criteria set by Cad Desk to sign up and post job listings on Career Desk.
  2. User Commitments:
    1. Accuracy of Information: Students are responsible for the accuracy of the skills and details they provide on their profiles. Cad Desk plays no role in verifying this information and relies on students’ commitment. If any false information is found later, Cad Desk and Career Desk will not be held responsible.
    2. Responsible Usage: Users agree not to engage in any activity that violates any applicable laws, regulations, or these Terms.
    3. Respectful Behavior: Users must treat each other with respect and professionalism, refraining from any form of discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior.
  3. Company Commitments:
    1. Hiring Practices: Companies agree to abide by fair and ethical hiring practices and provide equal opportunities to all candidates.
    2. Data Usage: Companies will use any data collected from the platform solely for the purpose of hiring and will not share, sell, or misuse this data in any way.
    3. Compliance: Companies must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding recruitment, employment, and data protection.
  4. Platform Usage:
    1. Intellectual Property: Career Desk and Cad Desk retain all rights to the platform’s content, including logos, text, and images.
    2. User Data: Career Desk collects and stores user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
    3. Availability: While we aim for 24/7 availability, we do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time.
  5. Dispute Resolution:
    1. Any disputes or claims arising from the use of Career Desk will be resolved through negotiations, and if required, through legal means in accordance with applicable laws in India.
  6. Limitation of Liability:
    1. Career Desk and Cad Desk will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of the use or inability to use our platform.
  7. Termination:
    1. Career Desk and Cad Desk reserve the right to terminate or suspend user accounts for violation of these Terms without notice.
  8. Amendments:
    1. These Terms may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the platform after such notification will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
  9. Governing Law:
    1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
